What is your "Why?" Mine is two-fold:
I want to be able to pass down a legacy. In the African American community, we often don't have anything to pass down to our children. I want to make sure I can pass something down to my son.
I want to give back to others what was not given to me. The experiences I've had at previous jobs was that I did not get leaders who knew how to train, coach and develop. They were managing, not leading. You manage tasks, not people!
